It’s the countdown to Europe’s largest software-as-a-service conference, SaaStock, where over 4000 SaaS founders and executives come to learn how to gain traction, accelerate growth and scale their business. Now in its third year, it has become one of the software industry’s leading global events with practical workshops, 1:1 mentoring and the collection of some of the most successful – and newest – technology companies.

SalesTrip will be there as a part of SaaStock’s renowned Startup Program – an exclusive group of companies selected due to their high potential. You’ll be able to find us talking all things business travel on the show floor in the Startup Zone and not far from our partner Salesforce, who will be on the main show floor.

This is also the main hub that connects each of the conference theatres. So whether you’re looking to see Stripe’s COO Claire Hughes Johnson, SurveyMonkey’s CMO Leela Srinivasan, or Kabbage Co-Founder Kathryn Petralia, there’s plenty to do and see. But with so much to choose from, it can be hard to decide where to focus your time so here’s our top three sessions not to be missed.

Tuesday 15th, 4.10pm, Chris Hemingway, VP at Salesforce

Firstly, it’s no surprise we’d recommend our partner, Salesforce, the world’s largest enterprise cloud platform. Chris Hemingway, ISV Regional VP for Salesforce AppExchange will take to the Scale stage to present “Who’s afraid of leveraging the platform play?”, decoding what will separate the winners from the losers as everyone strives to become a platform. SalesTrip’s travel and expenses management system is built on Salesforce and with over 200,000 customers, it’s clear to see why they are the poster child of SaaS.

Wednesday 16th, 12.20pm, Henrique Arago, VP at G2 Crowd

Again on the Scale stage, “The brave new world of customer relationships” looks to be one to watch where Henrique Aragao, VP and GM of EMEA at G2 Crowd will talk about the pains of scaling and what happens when your customers become dissatisfied. Customer success is the foundation of SalesTrip – as it has to be for any SaaS business – so we can’t wait to hear what Henrique has to share about thriving customer communities and the research G2 conducts into the SaaS market. In fact, SalesTrip recently debuted on the G2 Grids for Travel Management and Expense Management demonstrating the power of the customer voice.

Wednesday 16th, 3.30pm, Manaj Ganapathy, CEO at SalesTrip

Lastly, our Founder and CEO, Manoj Ganapathy is set to speak about his career journey, documenting his rise to success from humble beginnings in India to a leading SaaS entrepreneur. After emigrating to the UK in 2007, being fired from his first job in London, then navigating the 2008 recession, Manoj will talk about how he still managed to successfully bootstrap his first start-up, Invoice IT and sell it less than 5 years later to become Salesforce Billing – a product now serving global organisations across the world.

He will also explore how entrepreneurship and wellness work hand in hand, discussing the need for CEOs to demonstrate what wellness looks like in the hope that the wider workforce will follow suit, setting the tone for a healthy and happy culture.

Global Pitch Competition

SalesTrip has also been selected to take part in this year’s Global Pitch Competition – an event that coincides with the main SaaStock conference and aims to identify Europe’s best B2B SaaS start-ups. It’s a fierce competition that takes place over three days with elimination rounds on each day and the live final on Wednesday 16thOctober. Wish us luck!
